The personal project allows students to consolidate their learning and develop important skills they’ll need in further education and life beyond the classroom. It also helps them develop the confidence to become principled, lifelong learners.
The elements of the personal project
The personal project formally assesses students’ approaches to learning (ATL) skills for self-management, research, communication, critical and creative thinking, and collaboration.
The project is made up of a process, a product, and a reflective report.
You have a personal logbook in which you keep track of your thoughts, the actions you undertake, and the processes you follow to achieve your goal. Your teacher will have provided you with a link to your logbook.
